Our amigo Javier
We all felt something was special about Jazier Hernandez when we met him the first day. He introduced himself to each of us and always is eager to put his arm around you and give you a hug. He told us that Felipe, whose house we are building, is his friend and thanked us for helping him. After the first work day, Javier told us that he was going to stay at the work site overnight to make sure none of our tools, block, or other supplies were stolen. He didn't sleep all night but continued to work throughout the next day. For those of you that have been on previous trips, you know that some people stand out in your memory: Roberto in Monjaras, Antinor in Tierra Blanco, Nixon in Roca de la SalvaciĆ³n. That amigo in Limon de la Cerca is Javier.
